It doesn’t get more local than this! Located on Station Road, Bare Beauty and Holistic is just a 10 minute walk from Kingham Cottages. It is run by local beautician Helen Shadbolt who specialises in waxing, tints, manis & pedis. Sounds bliss!

Helen has teamed up with local masseur Irene Waters who specialises in deep tissue massage as well as raiki, reflexology and much more. Irene has over 10 years experience and is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists having worked at some of the top local establishments including Daylesford and Soho Farmhouse. Irene tailors her treatments to suit each client’s individual needs, meaning that all her treatments are crafted to relax your body and mind, enhance your senses and improve your overall well being. Kingham Cottages has tried and tested Irene thoroughly and can confirm we think she is 5 Star Fabulous! You can go to Irene or she will bring her massage table into the comfort of your cottage whilst you are with us here at Kingham Cottages.
Bamford Wellness Spa

Needing no introduction, on our doorstep is the Bamford Wellness Spa. An eco-building of light, calming water and therapists padding around barefoot, like Nirvana in the Cotswolds. However, don’t be fooled! This is a hive of classes, treatment rooms, relaxation area and shop. It’s a bit busy for us to consider it a real retreat from all the buzz of life, though it is written up in all the best glossy mags so who are we to know, but it definitely has everything under one roof. As their website states:
“Combining physical alignment with emotional and nutritional balance, our team of experts will guide you and help you to achieve harmony, health and happiness in body, mind and spirit.”
The Bamford Wellness Spa offers retreats, massage, pilates, yoga, nutritional consultations and you can now even get a manicure there….it’s heaven scent beautician, but not cheap!
Cedar Therapy in Chipping Norton
Cedar Therapy
Cedar Therapy in the local market town of Chipping Norton, offers the full range of nails, facials, massage, hair removal and spray tan as well as some of the more specialist treatments of modern salons including Caci (a micro-current technology to firm up sagging skin. I didn’t know either!), 3D Ultimate (also targeting cellulite issues) and Guinot’s slim logic. A light and fresh environment with friendly and experienced staff this is an excellent beautician and local option for a wide range of treatments.
Stow Health & Beauty in Stow on the Wold
In the opposite direction from Chipping Norton is Stow on the Wold. If you’re popping in for the Borzoi Bookshop or browsing the many antique shops, a quick treatment can always be fitted in at Stow Health and Beauty. Facials, waxing, mani/pedis and tanning are all on offer as well as Caci and chiropody. Their beautician USP is to run pop-up clinics including semi permanent makeup ‘Facial Aesthetics’ with Beautoxology. 
Also in Stow on the Wold, Candy Cox Beauty Therapy is a beautician that offers the full range of treatments but their USP is a make up service using the Jane Iredale range of mineral cosmetics. These are cosmetics that do the skin good whilst being worn because they are derived from natural minerals rather than synthetics and chemicals. A 60 minute lesson costs £45 and a special occasion make up lasting 30 minutes costs £35.
Zerenity in Moreton in Marsh
Ashleigh Long runs the beautician Zerenity in Moreton in Marsh offering waxing, tinting, facials, massage and mani/pedis. Her USP is that she will come out to Kingham Cottages and deliver pamper sessions in the comfort of your own cottage. What a fun addition to a girlie weekend!

All our cottages offer the ability to create a private and relaxing space, be it in the spacious master bedroom of Lodge Cottage or in the hidden away basement of Ryeworth there is plenty of space for you to create your own sanctuary right here on site. The Hammam in the pool complex is of course another wonderful opportunity to create your own tailored ‘spa experience’ right here at Kingham Cottages.
