Lodge Cottage is a traditional character-full Cotswold cottage, parts of which are 300 years old. It has its own small private garden.
The cottage sleeps four people. There is a spacious double bedroom with king-size four-poster bed, sofa, TV and views out across to the church, ample storage and en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has twin beds (which can zip-linked together), pleasant south facing views and a large family bathroom with shower over the bath. The open plan ground floor has a wonderful warm oak floor, open fireplace, comfortable sofas to sink into, and French windows leading to the delightful cottage garden.
The fully fitted kitchen has a full size dishwasher, double oven, separate microwave and large fridge-freezer. Off the kitchen is a south-facing conservatory with table and chairs for breakfasting or afternoon tea. Also on the ground floor are a downstairs loo and utility room with washing-drying machine. The living room sitting area has two comfortable sofas and chairs arranged around the log fire and flat-screen TV with freesat and free wi-fi. The dining area is furnished with an oak dining table comfortably seating 6-8 so you can have friends to dinner and an antique desk is a quiet corner to work or read.
For young children there is a stairgate, highchair and travel cot in the property and a larger cot or newborn cradle can be supplied on request (£20 supplement).
The property has its own private walled, south-facing garden with swing, dining table and chairs on the terrace accessed from the living room and conservatory.
Parking is available in the gravelled courtyard outside Lodge Cottage. A short walk around Kingham Lodge house leads you to the indoor pool and access to the 5 acres of gardens open to all guests of Kingham Cottages.
