Ryeworth is a spacious property built in 2011 with a traditional exterior and all the benefits of a comfortable modern cottage on the inside. Attached to Kite’s Gate, they share a lawn & parking area, making it ideal for family groups holidaying together as well as stand alone accommodation. Ryeworth and Kite’s Gate are ‘dog free’ cottages.
The cottage sleeps six. The primary bedroom features a king-size four poster bed, TV and en-suite wet room. Also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with separate family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Up to the second floor you will find a double aspect twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room. The twin beds can be zip-and-linked together to make super-kings on request.
Double doors from the ground floor entrance hall open into the large open plan living room with a traditional cottage flagstone floor, comfortable sofas to sink into at the end of your day of exploring the Cotswolds or rest up in a cosy window nook for a quiet read. The dining area is bathed in light from the French windows looking onto the terrace and features a four-oven Aga (switched on by prior arrangement), a large extendable dining table and breakfast bar for a relaxed morning coffee.
The fully fitted kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy to cater for large numbers. Ryeworth is the natural congregation house when several cottages are booked together, it is also perfect for a smaller family holiday.
There is a separate utility area and downstairs loo on the ground floor . Ryeworth also has a large multi-purpose basement play-room. This room includes a large flat screen TV, comfy sofas, and in Great-uncle Lenny’s trunk children can find a range of dressing-up clothes. Smaller ones may enjoy playing with the 1950’s doll’s house with its contemporary furniture. There is also a kitchenette with drinks fridge, additional tableware, chairs and fold-out tables for larger groups.
The rear terrace, with table and chairs for 6 and coal BBQ leads to the parking area for the cottage, shared with Kites’ Gate, as well as access to the 5 acre garden of Kingham Lodge and the indoor pool house. There is FreeSat TV and wi-fi broadband connection.
For young children there is a stairgate, highchair and travel cot in the cottage and a larger cot or newborn cradle can be supplied on request (£20 supplement).
We provide bed linen, bath towels and pool towels. All our cottages are no smoking.
