Kite’s Gate is a light and airy cottage built in 2011 with a mix of traditional craftsmanship and modern comforts. It is attached to Ryeworth and they share a lawn, ideal for family groups holidaying together as well as stand alone accommodation.
The cottage sleeps six with a master bedroom featuring a king-size four poster bed, TV and en-suite wet room. Also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with separate family bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the second floor is an oak beamed twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room enjoying wonderful views over countryside to Daylesford and beyond. The twin beds can be zip-and-linked together to make super-king beds.
The open plan ground floor has a warm honey-coloured oak plank floor throughout, with comfortable sofas and chairs arranged around the FreeSat TV. An antique dining table and chairs for 6. The fully fitted kitchen contains all the equipment needed to cook for a family including full size fridge-freezer, electric fan oven, second combi microwave-oven, 4 ring induction hob and dishwasher.
The back door from the kitchen leads onto the terrace furnished with table and chairs and a Weber charcoal BBQ. From here the free parking for the cottage, access to the 5 acre gardens of Kingham Lodge and the pool house are reached. There is wi-fi broadband across the site and a good mobile signal.
For young children there is a stair gate, highchair and travel cot in the property and a larger cot or newborn cradle can be supplied on request (£20 supplement).
The property has been built to a very high standard, furnished with a mix of antiques and comfortable modern furniture for a stay that feels like home-from-home. Under floor heating and an air-circulation system is installed throughout. Because of this, we do not allow pets or smoking.
