The Old Coachhouse is a large fully restored former coachhouse standing in a private courtyard behind Kingham Lodge. The restoration was completed in 2016 and traces of the old stable doors can still be seen, though inside we have created a new, well-insulated house with lots of light to let in the glorious Cotswold sunshine.
The house sleeps 8 in four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a TV, double brass bedstead with a very spacious en-suite that includes a walk-in shower, stand alone roll top bath and double sink. There are three twin bedrooms (one with en-suite shower) and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. In two of the bedrooms the beds can be zip-and-linked to make double beds. In one of the bedrooms the second bed can be put away to create a more spacious single bedroom. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and interesting furniture.
The ground floor includes a traditional entrance hall with plenty of space for gumboots and coats and a downstairs cloakroom. The entrance hall leads through to a large kitchen with dining table and fully fitted and very well equipped kitchen.
The beautifully furnished living/dining room has an open fire place and doors onto the terrace and private garden. There are table and chairs with a Weber charcoal BBQ as well as a slide and benches in the garden on which you can enjoy the sun and smell the roses! There is a separate study/reading room leading off the living room, also with access onto the terrace. Outside there is a terrace with table and chairs and its own large private garden. There is FreeSat TV in the living room and master bedroom and wi-fi broadband across the site. The property includes a stair gate, highchair and travel cot. A larger cot or newborn cradle can be supplied on request (£20 supplement).
